Nismo Parts Debut for the Rebelle Rally

Nissan has taken great steps forward in becoming the premiere automobile manufacturer that can fit the needs for every lifestyle and for every adventure. With many different styles and models of vehicles available in their lineup, the brand has proven that they can rise to any occasion. In an age of technology, Nissan has pushed forward into defining themselves and their brand as major innovators with exciting advances into all-new areas of technology improvement. This time, Nissan takes things off-road with an all new lineup of Nismo parts that will debut and this year’s Rebelle Rally and driven in a Nissan Frontier by Team Wild Grace.

The Rebelle Rally plays host to one of the toughest, most rigorous off-road competition in the United States, and even more notably, is comprised of an all-female competitor base. In pairs, teams conquer a treacherous 8-day course in the Imperial Dunes of Southern California. This competition is less about speed, but rather expert navigation, performance, driving skill, and prowess on some of the toughest terrain imaginable. Using only maps, roadbooks, and a compass, drivers navigate towards a series of hidden checkpoints, and the all-female drivers and copilots travel form all over the world for a chance to compete.  Nissan has been a sponsor for this event every year since its beginning, and is looking forward to working closely with Team Wild Grace in the Nissan Frontier with its all new line of Nismo off-road parts.

Although the Nismo Line is generally associated with Nissan’s line of racing motorcars such as the GT-R and 370Z, we are about to see them integrated with their biggest and best outdoor vehicles including the Frontier, the Titan, and the Xterra. Rebelle Rally hopefuls Team Wild Grace get to be among the first to experience a Nismo outfitted Frontier in action.  The suspension kit that is debuting at the Rebelle Rally is tuned specifically to handle varying loads, to adjust for varying terrain with larger and heavier tires, bumpers, and additional heavy equipment. The suspension is comprised of gas-pressurized monotube shocks that use digressive valving to handle even the most rugged terrain. The rear shocks will also help Team Wild Grace maintain the best possible performance under the worst conditions, and provide an extra two inches of ground clearance.

The front bumper gets a heavy-duty upgrade with improvements to capability and structure. A high strength steel construction is customized to best fit the front end of the Frontier, and features laser-cut components for a high precision fit. The bumper features attachment points for recovery shackles, is winch capable, and remains lightweight at only 105 pounds. The lighting for the Frontier also got an improvement, and features options for round or square pod lamps with a mesmerizing 8500 lumens for the most visibility.

For 2020, Nissan is looking ahead to the Rebelle Rally and is looking forward to supporting this exciting all-female community event. With a tried and true off-roading reputation, the company pairs with Team Wild Grace in hopes for an exciting win.
