Any departure from its predecessors the newest Frontier sees mass advancements in available technology. The Next Step in Safety

Featured in this year's Frontier is the Nissan safety shield 360 which is a series of visual and audio alerts pertaining to blind spots, obstructions, Lane keeping, rear cross traffic, and more. Also available with the Frontier is automatic high beam assist. For the first time in any Nissan, you can view your vehicle from a bird's eye view using intelligent around view monitors. Smooth and Adventurous Design

2022 brings us all-new exterior body work for the Nissan Frontier. A once sloping hood and grill has been transformed into an aggressive horizontal shape with a vertical face and grille that has been enlarged and expanded with new characteristics. The bed of the truck has been raised substantially along with higher rails and a spray in bed liner also available. Although the truck is of similar size to its preceding models, an interlocking front and rear fender give it a new chiseled shape with a dominating profile.

The interior is marked for adventure as well. Black upholstery with zero-gravity seats with two-tone stitching adds a more athletic element to the interior. Nothing is projects adventure more than interior handholds, sound dampening technology, and laminated front and side windows. There's even access under the seats and throughout the cabin for additional cargo storage.

On and Off-Road Performance

Nissan Frontier's suspension systems gets an additional facelift which helps separate the cabin from the road giving you a smoother drive even on rough terrain. The truck is equipped with a 3.8L V6 engine with a maximum output of 310 horsepower. The Frontier has a maximum towing capacity of 6,720 pounds, with an electronic trailer sway control that comes standard on all models. Payload capacity for the Nissan Frontier is 1,610 pounds.

Now you can shift easily from 2-wheel drive to 4-wheel drive while actively on the move, with an additional off-road mode featuring a new electronically rear locking differential. For the first time, the Nissan Frontier also sees a 9-speed transmission which allows for a smooth yet robust acceleration experience, enhanced control, an optimized efficiency.
