Brought to us from Nissan Motors originally in 1986, the Pathfinder has grown by massive leaps and bounds throughout the last few decades. The 2022 model represents the best available features in technology and safety, as well as a robust new design that is sure to turn heads. A Revival of Comfort and Ability
The upcoming 2022 Nissan Pathfinder boasts an all-new aggressive front end that pays tribute to its first-generation model with a recognizable three slats above the center grille. Wraparound headlights and newly acquired fog lights define vehicles front end, with a smooth series of contours along the body that catch the eye. This year's Pathfinder is taller, wider, and longer than any Pathfinder yet seen.
Spacious, Luxurious Interior
The interior of the vehicle also gets plenty of new additions. The Pathfinder comes available with second row captain’s chairs or a second row bench both with access to multiple USB ports as well as a 120-Volt power outlet. The 3rd row now has the capacity for three adults that adds the total capacity to 8, instead of last year's 7 passengers.
Top Infotainment and Safety Features
The 2022 Pathfinder has changed the entire look of the cockpit by adding a floating touchscreen that is closer to eye level of the driver. The available 9-inch touchscreen integrates with your smartphone to connect with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, where you can access your phone, navigation, media, messages, and more. The vehicle also features a heads up display above the all-digital MID screen, providing easy visual access to turn-by-turn navigation, current speed, and more.
The Nissan Pathfinder features the latest of safety technology by Nissan in their ProPilot assist safety suite. The safety suite enables a series of cameras to serve as a second pair of eyes as well as additional assistive technologies. Features such as adaptive cruise control, Lane centering assist, blind spot monitoring, cross traffic alerts, and more help you drive with peace of mind.
Paramount Performance
The most notable changes in the most recent Pathfinder or what can be found on the inside. Keeping the same wheelbase and 3.5L V6 engine from previous years, the Pathfinder still boasts a whopping 284 horsepower with two 159 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle exchanges a CVT transmission for a 9-speed transmission allowing for great performance, enhanced control, and easy handling.
The Pathfinder boasts best-in-class towing capability at a maximum 6,000 pounds. You can choose from multiple driving modes that can differentiate separate driving terrains including rain, snow, sand, and mud. The vehicle also features are specialized tow mode for when you have those big loads behind you.
