What Is a CPO Vehicle?
Nissan offers two tiers to its CPO program. The first tier is for newer models, which can’t be more than six years old and must pass a 167-point inspection. The second tier is for models up to ten years old, which must pass an 84-point inspection.
When you buy a CPO vehicle, you get the remainder of the original warranty if any is left. You also get an additional two years, or 40,000 miles added to the original powertrain warranty on the Nissan Certified vehicles. Certified Select vehicles have an additional six months or 6,000 miles.
Nissan Certified vehicles come with one year of prepaid maintenance while Certified Select models include one complimentary visit during the first year. You also get seven years or 100,000 miles of free roadside assistance from the new car purchase date. Another benefit is getting better financing terms for CPO models than what is normal for used vehicles.
